Video Comment
The video we viewed in class today was about people are the ones that run the internet. I agree with this because a computer is a computer it does not have feels like we do. A computer is not creative but just does what it is told to do and nothing more. I was not surprised how many tumblr post, youtube searches, and Skype calls occur just in the brief moments we were on the internet. I was not surprised because if just in one high school there are over 200 students constantly on their phones now imagine everyone in the world which is more than 7 million people. I think this could be a bad thing but yet with out all the technological advances many things still would not exist or would be done differently. So with every good there comes bad but the good usually outweighs the bad.

Banking Video
I have always known that everything that we put on the web is available for anyone to see and can not be taken down but I never thought that people were able to view bank accounts. I thought that banking accounts or money was something that was kept private and not for everyone to view. I learned that absolutely nothing is safe on the web including personal finances. I think this commercial should not just be a commercial for a specific company but a public service announcement in which everyone can see in order to learn more about the internet. I believe this video can bring more awareness to everyone that goes on the internet and puts personal information such as finances.

Capstone Project (Entry 1)
My Capstone is about communication among the family and how it affects the outcomes of the children in the family. The goal of my project is to inform the public and teach families how to build communication among themselves. This is important because family is the base of a community and children are the future of society and if these two important factors are unstable or dysfunctional, society as a whole would fall apart. I want to become a cardiologist and this ties into with my capstone through communication and understanding. As a doctor I will come across many family situation in where I might the only method of communication among family. My capstone gives back to the community by allowing resources for families that are falling apart or disconnected. Richland's triple bottom line is teaching, which can be applied to my capstone by teaching other families how to connect with each other, learning, which can be applied to my project by learning as I do research, and Community building, which can be applied to my project by giving the community a stronger sense of family.
